Toddlers swimming

Toddlers from 12 months can learn basic lifesaving skills.

They don't have to be master-swimmers! Simply learning to turn around and go back to the side or learning to stand up unassisted in shallow water can save their lives!

Being younger they need more repetition, so consistency in attendance is important.

Toddlers swim in groups together with mom, dad or other trusted adult.

Learn to Swim

This category of swimmers ranges from around 4yrs to adults.

Children learn at a faster rate at around 4 to 5 years.

But, as the saying goes 'You're never too old to learn'.

Learning to swim is a fun, rewarding activity, and is a skill you / your child will have for the rest of their lives!

Swimming strokes

Once pupils can comfortably swim 20m independently and with ease, they are ready to start learning the 4 competitive strokes.

• Butterfly

As well as dive starts, tumble turns etc.
